On the Bend Sugar Shack is a small hobbyist farm run by Frank Heerkens who is responsible for reestablishing maple syrup production on the Kemptville College Campus. They are part of Eastern Ontario Maple Syrup Producers Association and the Ontario Maple Syrup Producers Association.
