Traditional Blended Conditioning Oil

A proprietary blend of organic coconut, sunflower, flaxseed oils, beeswax and good old fashioned lard. This is the best seasoning oil with the least amount of mess. Used regularly, clean up is easy and food slides out of the pan. 

Sticks are 2 ounces each and replace both seasoning and conditioning oils.

*Please note, the conditioning oil can be made only plant based oils, please request. 

How to use for maintenance: Remove the conditioning stick cap and rub the stick lightly on warm cast iron. Using a towel, distribute the oil on the cast iron surface, remembering the handle, top and sides of the skillet. Remove any excess oil with the clean side of a towel and store your cast iron. Do not try to push the shaped oil back into the tube. Tap the tube bottom (not the capped end) gently on the counter top and the stick will slide back down into the packaging. 


How to use for seasoning: Wash and dry your skillet. Remove the conditioning stick cap and rub the stick lightly on warm cast iron. Using a towel, distribute the oil on the cast iron surface, remembering the handle, top and sides of the skillet. Remove any excess oil with the clean side of a towelPlace your cast iron, upside down in a cold oven. Set the heat to 450 degrees, and when temperature is reached, allow the cast iron to bake for one hour. Let the cast iron cool in the oven and repeat the process 3-5 times.

Pair with: Salt scrub and a scrub brush.

Longevity: For best longevity, always use the oil sticks in a clean skillet. Store the stick at room temperature.
