Menthol: calm irritation, regulate oil production, removes dandruff
Tea Tree Oil: Anti-inflammatory, anti-dandruff
Eucalyptus Oil: reduces itchiness, reduces dandruff
All 3 combined are also reputed to be very good at deterring head lice, but this isn't why I use it a lot, I use it because my very fine hair and can-be greasy scalp love it, no itchiness and I get a further day without washing!
This shampoo bar creates a luxurious, silky foam to lather into your hair, it rinses out quickly too.
The bars tend to last around 2 months or more with daily washing although this will depend on keeping them dry between washes. It's best to place the bar on a soap dish that lets any moisture drain away from the bar. They may break into lumps as they slowly shrink, this doesn't affect them at all, just use the pieces!
If you are transferring to a naturally derived hair care product you may find that you hair and scalp take some time to adjust. This can range from a day or two to a couple of weeks. You may notice you hair is greasier initially but once your hair adapts this will pass.
